How do we best use the tokens?

The tokens included with edition 1 have 10 square tokens per color and 10 round per color.  The square tokens are placed on the game board to represent a character, and the round ones (same number and color as to what was placed on the board) are placed on the character card.  The unique color combination for each character will eliminate any confusion as pieces move around the board.  To represent anything that is not a character on the board, use the corresponding colored round tokens.

The tokens included with edition 2 have square tokens with a symbol and a number and 10 round tokens per color.  The square tokens are placed on the board.  For example the token of a ship with the number 1 on it - in the game ‘Battle for the Seas’.  Place the token on the game board with the bottom of the ship facing you and place 1 round token on the character card.  The direction the ship faces and the number will eliminate any confusion of the pieces as they move around the board.  To represent anything that is not a character on the board, use the corresponding colored round tokens.

Can I replace edition 1 with edition 2?

We will replace the game board and the tokens with the newer edition, at no additional cost.  However, you must pay for shipping and handling.
